James Albright
Foxfire Acres is owned by James Albright, a
certified public accountant for more than 40
years. His love of horses started when he was a
young boy and never went away! After years of
dreaming about owning a horse Mr. Albright
finally purchased his farm in Hamilton, GA and
his first horses. He fell in love with the
smooth gait and amazing personality of the Paso
Fino horse. At 77 years old, Mr. Albright
continues to ride and show his Paso Finos and
loves to share his passion of horses with
others. |

Pedro Burgos
Pedro Burgos is the head trainer of Foxfire Acres and
brings a lifetime of knowledge about Paso Fino horses to
the farm. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Pedro is the
son of a Paso Fino trainer and grew up learning how to
ride, train, and care for the Paso Finos. He lived in
South Carolina for a number of years where he worked as
the barn manager and trainer for a stable that was home
to over twenty Paso Fino horses. He has competed
successfully in numerous nationally and internationally
recognized competitions.

Melissa Murray
Melissa Murray is the barn manager and
assistant trainer at Foxfire Acres. She has 20 years of
experience working with horses; from riding hunt seat
equitation & dressage, to training Quarter Horse
racehorses, & competing successfully on the rated breed
circuit at Arabian horse shows. An Army veteran,
Melissa came to work for Foxfire Acres after being
honorably discharged from the military in 2012. She is
responsible for the daily care of over 40 horses at
Foxfire Acres and assists in training the Paso Finos. |
